July 1, 2008 (Novato, CA): NACIO Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce it has become an independent company, effective immediately, under new ownership and management headed by Chairman, President, and CEO, Carey Daly.

Spun-off from its publicly-traded parent corporation, Encompass Holdings LLC, NACIO will initially remain a private company focused on datacenter operations and IT technology services. Moving forward, NACIO will continue to do business under the name NACIO2, reflecting the next-generation management team and business strategy.

Mr. Daly commented, “We’ve all worked very hard over the recent 12-month period to build a cohesive team around customer value and what makes us different. Now with new management and a total-solution strategy in place, we’re very excited about our prospects for our fiscal year. NACIO2 is truly positioned to offer power, price, reliability, and customer service advantages unmatched anywhere in the region.”

Carey Daly’s business and financial background includes a four-decade executive career at IBM, American Standard and other technology companies involving data processing, smart card systems, credit card applications, and software development. Mr. Daly’s credential as a successful serial-entrepreneur and transitional executive brings new focus and energy to NACIO2’s core mission. Daly said, “I think this will be my last turn-around project, so I’m committed to creating benefit for all NACIO2 stake-holders. That means accelerated growth and high-performance implementation built on strengths the company always had.”

Green Power Initiative Underway at NACIO2

March 5, 2008 (Novato, CA): In conjunction with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) programs offered for commercial data centers, NACIO Systems has commenced an initiative to reduce energy consumption by at least 15% before the end of 2008. Using the PG&E carbon footprint calculator, the projected savings will be equivalent to at least 187,311 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year, or the same footprint generated from burning almost 10,000 gallons of gasoline.

This program involves a comprehensive 3rd-party energy audit and analysis of NACIO2 operations to identify power and cooling systems among other best practices for optimization and infrastructure upgrades scheduled for implementation by Q3 2008.

CEO, Carey Daly, commented, “Going ‘green’ is more than a marketing ploy for our data center, it’s about improving capabilities and operational efficiency while cutting costs, thus providing a significant competitive advantage. But at the same time, we’re making an investment in a more sustainable future for everyone living on this planet. Because of PG&E and government incentives available today, the pay-back period just makes sense.”

NACIO2 will continue to use our Support Alert Network notifications to keep customers abreast of ongoing developments. Currently, no interruption of services is expected as a result of our internal modifications.

Novato – June 29, 2007 NACIO2, an industry leader in hosting datacenter services completed its second year audit for renewal of their SAS 70 Level II certification. A thorough analysis provided by a third-party auditing firm, NACIO2 proved that the systems control processes, redundancy, fault-tolerance, and disaster recovery systems meets or exceeds the United States Government regulations as defined by the Sarbanes-Oxley act of 2002 as it applies to NACIO2’s datacenter services.

A SAS 70 Level II audit and certification is a standard of auditing recognized by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that analyzes a company’s process control standards and activities as it relates to services and operations provided to customers. NACIO2 strives to provide a reliable, dependable solution for our customers and their customers.”

Russell Mains, Director of Operations at NACIO2 echoes Mr. Daly’s statements with, “Our team at NACIO2 and especially here in the Network Operating Center (NOC) work hard to ensure our customer’s systems are always available. By having the auditing team validate our processes and certify their effectiveness, we can sleep better at night knowing that we have a processes and systems that work and are verifiable.”
