Nacio2 Backup Solutions
NACIO2 offers to our customers two levels of data backup solutions. Our backup-to-disk solution encompasses the use of an industry standard backup management software solution to perform scheduled backups of customer systems to a large SAN array populated with high-speed drives in a RAID 5 configuration that also incorporates hot-spare drives in the event of a failure. This solution provides a high speed method of data backup and more importantly, data retrieval without the encumbrances of slower tape drive technologies. Using a weekly full and daily incremental backup schedule, our customers can rest assured that their critical data is ready at a moment’s notice.
In conjunction with our backup-to-disk solution, NACIO2 also offers off-site redundancy of backed up data with utilizing a bit level replication of customer systems backups to our facility in San Antonio. As data is written to disk at Nacio2’s primary facility, the data is also replicated to a similar system in our San Antonio facility
Data Vaulting Solutions
NACIO2 also offers data vaulting solutions for customers that wish to use NACIO2 as their data vault. By offering either managed systems or facilities for a customer to CoLocate their data storage systems, customers can keep their mission critical systems at their premises and replicate the data to NACIO2 as the offsite storage location.
Additionally, NACIO2 offers our TeraSafe product that can be implemented in two different methods. The first is by using a single TeraSafe server located at our primary facility, customers can replicate their data from systems at the customer’s location to the server here at NACIO2. The TeraSafe product provides a dedicated system for a customer and does not share storage facilities with any other customer thus providing an added layer of reliability and security for the customer.
The second implementation method for the TeraSafe product is to provide a server system located at the customer premises to gather the data from multiple systems into a single storage solution for local recovery and replicate the data to another system located at either NACIO2’s primary facility or San Antonio facility providing off-site storage of the customer’s data.
NACIO2’s data vaulting solution provides for up to 22 Terabytes of data per unit which can be clustered for up to 1000 Terabytes of total storage. Each customer system is distinct and dedicated to ensure that data is not shared on a single system for multiple customers.
